The Chiloquin Teen Adventure Camp is BACK for Year 2!
Chiloquin Teen Adventure Camp: A Summer That Builds Skills, Confidence, and Community
In a small rural community like Chiloquin, opportunities for teens during the summer can be limited. Families often face a simple but important question: What can our kids do that is safe, meaningful, and fun?
The Chiloquin Teen Adventure Camp (CTAC) is the answer.
This FREE six-week summer program is designed specifically for middle and high school students in our community. It offers hands-on experiences that build confidence, teach real-world skills, and connect teens to the people and places that make Chiloquin special.
A Program Built for Chiloquin Youth
CTAC isn’t just a camp—it’s a structured learning experience that blends education, recreation, and personal growth.
Each week focuses on a different theme, giving students the chance to explore new interests:
- Outdoor Adventure
Bike Skills and Safety
-
Art and Creativity
-
Recreation and Community
-
Transportation and Innovation
Water Sports
Every day runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, combining fun activities with learning opportunities that help teens grow socially, physically, and mentally. This variety is intentional. It ensures that every participant can find something they enjoy—and maybe even discover a future career path.
Real Experiences. Real Impact.
What makes CTAC special is how it brings learning to life. Students don’t just sit in a classroom—they:
-
Ride trails and learn bike maintenance
-
Explore local lakes and rivers
-
Create art with local artists
-
Visit Train Mountain and transportation facilities
-
Participate in outdoor science and conservation activities
These experiences help teens build independence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
How You Can Get Involved
CTAC succeeds because of community support. There are several ways to help:
Become a program aide or volunteer
-
Sponsor the program to keep it free for youth
-
Offer an activity, workshop, or field trip idea
-
Help spread the word
Every contribution—big or small—helps create opportunities for local teens.
