For 20 years, Sprague River Bridge Connection has proudly served the communities of the Sprague River Valley in Eastern Oregon. Our mission is simple but vital: to bridge the gap between rural, outlying communities and essential services located in Klamath Falls.

In a region facing high unemployment, housing instability, and a growing population of seniors on fixed incomes, our organization provides critical support. We offer emergency food boxes, hygiene supplies, clothing, household goods, social service information, and compassionate, human connection to those who need it most.

Our work is powered entirely by a dedicated team of 10 volunteers. Each week, we come together to make a difference—sorting and organizing donations on Tuesdays and opening our doors on Wednesdays to distribute food boxes, clothing, and homemade baked goods. Every interaction is rooted in dignity, care, and community.

Today, we serve between 150 and 200 families each month. In 2025 alone, we distributed more than 79,500 pounds of food, including 30,000 pounds of fresh produce—bringing healthier options directly to our neighbors.

As our community continues to grow, so do the needs we see every day. We have outgrown our current facility and are working toward building a larger, more accessible space on generously donated land. This new building will allow us to expand services, improve efficiency, and better support the individuals and families who rely on us.

This vision is made possible through the unwavering support of our community—through pledges, donations, bake sales, rummage sales, and grant opportunities. Together, we are committed to reducing hunger, strengthening our community, and ensuring that every resident has access to nutritious food in a safe, welcoming environment.
