Family Fun at the Snowflake Parade

For the first time, CVIP Board members decided to create a float with Two Rivers Art Gallery for the Snowflake parade in Klamath Falls.  John and Diane Rademacher contributed the truck and trailer.  Larry and Christy Dugger raided their Christmas supplies, which luckily featured several Snowflake lights!  John and Dee also had several strings of LED Christmas lights and building materials to add.   A plan was formed with the theme of “Family Fun in Chiloquin”.  Banners were made economically by Subbed in Designs, a new downtown Chiloquin business in the renovated HIRVI Building.

The Baker family, Mom Jennifer, Sons Jaxson, Brenson, and 4-year-old Addie were recruited to provide the “fun” part.  Jaxson stood on snowshoes with for the entire event on a hill built by Larry and John to appear as snow.  Christy was the creative designer who “supervised” the installation.  An 8-foot inflatable snowman and a lighted spiral tree that were featured, now can see in the Dugger’s holiday display on Modoc Point Road.
