About the Program

The Chiloquin Teen Adventure Camp is a new six-week summer program providing middle and high school students with hands-on, engaging, and inspiring experiences in outdoor adventure, biking, arts, science, wellness, and career exploration. With weekly themes and daily activities, CTAC aims to promote learning, leadership, and a strong connection to the community.

Position Summary

Chiloquin Visions in Progress (CVIP) is hiring part-time Camp Aides to help deliver an exciting new six-week summer program for middle and high school youth in Chiloquin! Each week of the Chiloquin Teen Adventure Camp explores a new theme—from bike skills and art to outdoor adventures and water sports. If you enjoy working with teens, spending time outdoors, and making a difference in your community, we’d love for you to apply! You can work one week or all six—scheduling is flexible.

🗓 Dates: July 6 – August 21

🕘 Camp hours: 9 AM – 3 PM (Monday–Friday)
📍 Location: Chiloquin Community Center and nearby destinations

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with the Program Coordinator and other staff
• Assist in the supervision of youth participants throughout daily camp activities (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Support instructors and facilitators in setting up and leading camp sessions
• Help with daily logistics such as attendance, snack/lunch distribution, and transitions between activities
• Engage positively with youth, encouraging participation and supporting appropriate behavior
• Assist with field trip coordination and travel (including riding the bus with students)
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
