Plant a Seed: Read!

The Library is excited for another Summer Reading Program. Our annual Summer Reading Challenge for kids and teens begins Monday, June 15th. This year’s theme is: Plant a Seed: Read! Participants earn prizes for tracking their reading through the summer. Families with pre-readers can count on early literacy activities.

We’re bringing back an updated version of our Monopoly board from last year so that adults can participate as well!

We’ll also have activities at the Chiloquin Library on Wednesdays at 2 pm, including these special events and guests:

• July 1st: Hula Hooping with Ms. Button
• July 15th: Magic with Jay Frasier
• July 22nd: Finch Robotics Workshop
• July 29th: Summer Craft Workshop
• August 5th: “Bee Amazed,” a traveling exhibit from the Museum of Natural and Cultural History
• August 12th: Ventriloquist Vikki Green
• August 19th: Hands-On Critters (Reptiles)
