2025 Programs Update
In 2025, Sprague River Bridge Connection experienced a significant increase in community need. 2,280 families received food boxes in 2025 up from 1,787 families in 2024. A 27.59% increase in families served.
🍎 Produce Connection – Summer 2025
During the summer months, our Produce Connection Program provided 29,653 pounds of fresh produce, serving 1,320 families.
♻️ BottleDrop & Christmas Program Impact
Through our participation in the Oregon BottleDrop program, our community demonstrated incredible generosity.
From January through November, donated bottles and cans raised $1,379
With these funds, we were able to purchase complete Christmas meals for 80 families. In addition, we received 5 Christmas food boxes from our local church, Sprague River Valley Christian Fellowship. This brought our total Christmas meal giveaway to 85 families served. An increase of 15 families over 2024
Every family who came out and braved the cold received a complete holiday meal. Gifts for children were also distributed, helping bring both nourishment and joy to local families.
Partnerships That Make It Possible
We could not serve our community without the incredible support of the Klamath Lake County Food Bank. In 2025, they provided 79,545 pounds of food for our food box program and 29,653 pounds of produce for our Produce Connection program.
We are also grateful for our partnership with Goodwill Industries of Klamath Falls. Their support helped keep local residents warm this winter through donations of blankets, sheets, pillows, winter shoes and backpacks.
We are also thankful for the generosity of Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Klamath County and United Way of Klamath County who donated winter coats, socks, hats, gloves, and sweaters to help protect families during the cold season.
These partnerships ensured families had not only food on the table, but also warmth, clothing, and essential resources during the colder months.
Together, these collaborations strengthen our ability to serve rural families.
